Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’s Unique Promotion Strategy Grabs Eyeballs

Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar's Toilet- Ek Prem Katha is all set to release this Friday, 11th August and just like the title, the plot of the movie too is something we've never seen or heard of before. Based on the real life struggle of women in rural areas, the whole idea of the movie is to motivate people to make toilets in the houses so women do not have to go out and we must say, by their campaigns and promotion style, Bhumi Pednekar and Akshay Kumar seem to be doing a great job at spreading awareness amongst the people. Here are somethings that we really liked. 

Akshay recently met Narendra Modi who was very impressed with the title of the movie and the concern being shown towards the health of women and children.

As a part of the Swacch Bharat Abhiyan, Akshay Kumar was seen building a toilet in Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh as a promotional activity for his movie along with BJP leader Narendra Singh Tomar.

Our Khiladi has also tied up with BMC as a part of the promotions and the duo, as a team are going around teaching everyone in the slum areas about waste management. The concept isn't just helping the movie but also the government in their cleanliness drive.
