Why You Must Watch Fitoor

Valentine’s Day releases are always hyped. In 2015, it was Roy, and this year we have Fitoor that has already generated a lot of buzz. The film, an adaptation of Great Expectations, was supposed to release last year itself. Initially, Sushant Singh Rajput was supposed to do the film, but the actor walked out of the project due to date issues. The other controversy that surrounded this film was when Rekha decided to leave the project, much after her portions were shot. After all these delays and drama, Fitoor is now all set to hit theatres. We’ve loved the trailer and here’s why we can’t wait for the film to release:

Aditya-Katrina Chemistry

Fitoor is the first time that Aditya Roy Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have been paired opposite each other. Judging from the trailer, the chemistry between them is sizzling and we’re sure that they’ll make us fall in love with their characters, Noor and Firdaus.

When Rekha opted out of the film, Tabu was brought in as her replacement. The actress plays Katrina’s mother and her character has negative shades that we are sure she’ll pull off well.

Abhishek Kapoor as Director

The director’s last film, Kai Po Che, was a brilliant adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s The 3 Mistakes of My Life and we’re sure Abhishek won’t disappoint us with Fitoor either.

Amit Trivedi’s Music

Last year, Amit Trivedi gave us hits like ‘Gulaabo’ and ‘Raitaa Phail Gaya’. He has composed the soundtrack of Fitoor and the songs ‘Yeh Fitoor Mera’ and ‘Pashmina’ are already popular.
