Shedding my clothes was easy, baring my soul is what the emotionally draining task was – Randeep Hooda
Jism 2, the erotic thriller, is Bhatt camp’s latest offering which releases across theatres on August 3. After going through a minor hiccup in the film’s post-production, the director, the crew and the actors are all awaiting the film’s mega-opening. More so, because it’s predecessor, Jism was India’s first film in the same category starring Bipasha Basu and the then debutante John Abraham. Pooja Bhatt, credited for directing films such as Paap, Holiday, Dhokha and Kajra Re has high expectations out of her latest “baby”.
She recently said that Jism 2 could be her “Arth” – a high-grossing BO success for her father, the renowned director and producer, Mahesh Bhatt. She says that with Jism 2, she has nothing to lose. Besides, she is all set to introduce a new fantasy to the Indian audiences. Her father who has penned the story of the film, has compared it to the 1972 Marlon Brando starrer, Last Tango in Paris. If one were to go by hearsay, the story promises to be different while the level of eroticism will be at par with the Brando starrer.
This film marks the debut of Indo-Canadian porn actress, businesswoman and model, Sunny Leone and a career boost for both Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh. One may argue that the plot has been heard of before, one with a beautiful woman and two men – a lawmaker and an outlaw in love with  the same woman. However, this film’s chances at the BO still look on the ‘sunny’ side. No points for guessing why… it’s a story written by Mahesh Bhatt – the man who gave us touching stories like Arth, Saaransh, Naam, Zakhm and a romantic comedy like Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahi and more recently Woh Lamhe. The songs are already a hit amongst the audiences both young and old. Composed by Arko Pravo Chakraborty, Abdul Baasith Saeed, Mithoon, the album comprises songs sung by Ali Azmat (lead singer of Pakistani band, Junoon), KK and Sonu Kakkar. Darta Hoon (Adhoore), has been sung by Pakistani band, Rushk

Dino Morea will also be seen making a comeback to the industry with this film, this time from the other side of the camera as he turns producer (alongwith Pooja Bhatt) with this film.
The film is a fresh start for a lot of people and a breath of fresh air for the audiences perhaps, but as Pooja Bhatt stated, the film is meant for a mature audience, and we agree with that thought ’cause it’s better to be bold in the face than be a closet admirer of ‘those’ things.
