2015 was undoubtedly a good year for Kamal Haasan. The actor started off his year with Uttama Villain, which didn’t manage to do well at the box-office, but won critical acclaim. He later starred in Papanasam and Thoongavanam respectively. Papanasam was the remake of the hit film Drishyam, and the same magic was repeated in Kollywood as well. Thoongavanam, on the other hand, was a remake of the French film Sleepless Nights and was well received by the audience. Kamal Haasan and Amala Reunite
When Kamal Haasan and Amala appeared on-screen in the song ‘Valaiosai’ in Sathya,and their chemistry was nothing short of amazing! Now, after close to two decades, the two are teaming up for a new film. The untitled project will be directed by National award-winning director Malayalam filmmaker T. K. Rajeev Kumar, who earlier made Chanakyan (1989) with Kamal Haasan. The film will be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual and will be shot in the USA. Two talented actors teaming up again; now, that’s how you build the excitement of the fans!
Kamal Haasan and daughter Shruti Haasan unite
We all love the adorable bond shared by Kamal Haasan and daughter, Shruti Haasan. Now, they are all set team up for a film. Reports suggest that Shruti Haasan will join the sets of T. K. Rajeev Kumar’s film, and will play a pivotal role in it. Shruti was previously supposed to work with Kamal Haasan in Uttama Villain. But, that clearly didn’t happen. 
Kamal Haasan’s Hindi film
Vishwaroop was Kamal Haasan’s last film, which released in Hindi in the year 2013 (Originally released in Tamil as Vishwaroopam). And, now he’s all set to appear in a straight Hindi film which will be directed him. The film titled Amar Hai, has taken Kamal Haasan over six years to pen the script of the film and the actor is keen on casting Saif Ali Khan for his ambitious project . The film is said to revolve around politics, finance and the underworld. If we’re lucky, then we’ll get to see Saif Ali Khan share the screen with a legend like Kamal Haasan, for the first time.
