South Actresses - BookMyShow

6 South Actresses Bollywood Needs To Import Right Away

Yes, the southern part of India is known for its greenery and scenic beauty but it is also known for its beautiful ladies. When the south of India offered beautiful and talented actresses like Rekha, Hema Malini and Sridevi to Bollywood, they were accepted with open arms and why not? These three were and still are known for their beauty and acting talents. The south Indian film fraternity has so many of its brilliantly talented and beautiful actresses to offer to Bollywood even today. These actresses belong to what is now called the new- generation actors who don’t shy away from taking up roles that traditionally actresses from the south were reluctant to do. From playing a role of an independent RJ who is wheelchair-bound to a revenge-seeking rape victim who considers herself more of a survivor and rightly so, south Indian actresses are paving a new way for the next generation, which is incredibly inspiring to watch.
Here is a list of the beautiful and talented actresses who continue to do some amazing work:

She had a rather not-so-noteworthy Bollywood debut with the movie Khatta Meetha (2010) opposite Akshay Kumar but we hope the result of the movie at the box office does not deter her from taking up some more Bollywood projects.
