The last weekend of April did not have many movie releases due to the grand release of Avengers: Infinity War. In fact, Bollywood only had one new movie in theatres – Sudhir Mishra’s Daas Dev. Other than Avengers, regional movies like Nude and Uncle left us highly impressed.

But the month of May has a whole new set of mind-blowing movies awaiting release. This week itself, the biggest stars of Hollywood, Bollywood, and regional cinema make their way to the big screen with these five big releases:

Based on the dreaded terrorist Omar Sheikh, this much-awaited film finally hits theatres this Friday. The biographical thriller drama explores events from the 1994 kidnapping of foreign tourists to the tragic assassination of Daniel Pearl. 102 Not Out

Based on a Gujarati play, this film explores the unusual relationship between an old man of 75 and his even older father of 102. There's no surprise as to which character the master of disguise, Big B, plays in this comedy-drama. The chemistry between the two is crackling and we cannot wait to see it on the big screen this Friday.

Isle of Dogs
