Looking in the Crystal Ball: Justice League

Zack Snyder has steadily taken over the entertainment section with his shenanigans as the director of Batman V Superman. However, that isn't his only directorial venture. Everyone knows that DC Comics, along with the acclaimed director and Warner Bros., is working on a Justice League film. Unlike Marvel, who released standalone hero films before their all-star flick The Avengers, DC and WB are choosing to throw all of their biggest and most banked upon heroes into the box-office blender. As happy as we are about this smorgasbord of heroes in the same film, we're also a little worried about who's playing who. Who's in it? Good thing you asked. Here's the likely cast for the Justice League of America!

Batman: Ben Affleck

From what we've seen of him in the Batman V Superman trailer, he's done a brilliant job as the angry and brooding Bruce Wayne. It makes sense to bring him back for the Justice League film, for two reasons. One, it's going to lead to more massive media frenzy to pick another Batman, and two, it's going to be incredibly disorienting to watch Ben Affleck as Batman, and then someone else later.

Superman: Henry Cavill

It's going to be a helluva battle between Bats and Supes in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. That age-old rivalry has been brought to life on screen exceptionally in the trailer, and much of the Justice League's charm is based on the dynamic between Batman and Superman. Hence, it makes sense to rope in Cavill if you're getting Affleck. They're sort of a package deal.

Wonder Woman: Gal Gadot

The Israeli bombshell looks stunning as the Amazonian warrior queen. However, what really makes her a fine addition to the team is the fact that she provides a fresh face and a certain allure, especially in a room full of muscled, brooding men. That, and she can kick some serious butt

Cyborg: Ray Fisher

While he will be seen in a small role in Batman V Superman, he will be essaying a larger role in the JLA film. The actor, who recently bulked up to play Muhammad Ali on stage, certainly looks the part. Add a robotic arm and a metal suit, and voila- you've got your Cyborg!

The Flash: Grant Gustin

The actor, who will be playing the Flash on the popular CW series in the upcoming fall season should be a wise choice for the role of the speedster. While he has been confirmed for a short role along with Cyborg in BvS, the same cannot be said for the upcoming JLA movie. Only time will tell!

Aquaman: Jason Momoa

Khal Drogo, from Game of Thrones, will be playing the King of the Seven Seas! Okay, maybe not Khal Drogo, but we know for certain that Jason Momoa will be playing the trident-wielding Aquaman in the next DC film. This is his chance to give Aquaman his due.

Martian Manhunter: Djimon Hounsou

As he's one of the founding members of the Justice League, it would be great injustice (pun intended) to leave the green guy out. Possibly one of the strongest members after Superman, he's a force to reckon with, and Djimon Hounsou would fit the bill perfectly.

Green Lantern: Anyone but Ryan Reynolds

We all remember what a disaster the Green Lantern film was. As he's one of the best members of the hero team, this one should be played by anyone but Ryan Reynolds, for obvious reasons.
