Roshan Mathew Prayaga Martin starrer Viswasapoorvam Mansoor - BookMyShow

Why Roshan Mathew’s Upcoming is a Standout Among The Other Eid Releases?

It’s a blessing for actors who are able to leave an impression among the audience with their first outing. Roshan Mathew is among those few. He played an antagonist in Mammootty starrer Puthiya Niyamam. The vulnerabilities he brought to his role was noted and appreciated by everyone. He was next seen as Premraj in Adi Kapyare Kootamani with very less screen time. He still managed to get noticed as his scene in the second half came at a very crucial point. His ticket to fame was the role of Gautam in Aanandam. And now with just three films in his list of filmography, he has slowly and steadily found his space in Malayalam film industry.

He is all set to impress us again with his fourth film Viswasapoorvam Mansoor where he is playing the title role. This shows how promising he is as an actor who is performing a title role in such an early stage of his career. As the film is slated to release on June 24th, we give you three reasons why the film stands out among the other big festive releases.

The Direction

Viswasapoorvam Mansoor is helmed by P T Kunhimohammed and the Malayalee cinephiles know that his films ride high on content. He has also written the screenplay and dialogues for the film. The film is based on the North Malabar region of Kerala and draws our attention towards the socio-political scenario of the region, which is evident by the trailer.

The Cast

Roshan will be seen romancing Prayaga Martin, who plays the female lead. The other major cast includes Renji Panicker, Asha Sarath, Leona Lishoy and Zarina Wahab. When such powerhouse actors come together for a film, it is certain that the audience will get to see some crackling performances on screen.

The Music

The music is handled by Ramesh Narayan. The songs Poyimaranja Kalam, Ariyaykayalalla, The Wedding Song and Nilavinte have already caught everyone's attention. It's not a usual soundtrack but the one which strengthens the narrative of the film. Our personal favorite is Poyimaranja Kalam sung by the mellifluous singer K.J. Yesudas. We are sure that Roshan was on cloud nine when he came to know that he will be featured in dasettan's song.

We wish all the very best to Roshan and the entire team of Viswasapoorvam Mansoor. Don’t forget to watch this space on June 24th as we will be reviewing the film. In the meantime, tell us which one is your favorite song.
