The Tollywood actor Manchu Manoj broke this news on Twitter yesterday and made the entire film fraternity curious about this particular tweet. The actor, however, deleted this tweet which just led to more confusion.

The actor later tweeted the following to clear the confusion his previous tweet created.

Manchu Manoj who made his debut as a lead in the 2004 movie Donga Dongadi has around 17 films to his credit. His latest film was the action-comedy-drama  Gunturodu, which released on 3rd March, 2017. Gunturodu did fairly well at the box office.

In his second film of this year, Manchu Manoj will be seen playing the role of the slain LTTE Commander Prabhakaran. This will probably be his most controversial role ever. Written and directed by Ajay Andrews Nuthakki, Okkadu Migiladu will be released in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada simultaneously.

The film will also star Anisha Ambrose who was last seen in the Telugu film Fashion Designer s/o Ladies Tailor.

The first look poster of the film was shared a while back and the actor looks fierce in it. For the very first time, Manchu Manoj will be playing a double role – LTTE Tiger and a student leader. The film's tagline says it is "An Untold True Story" and we can't wait to find out what the film is all about.

The teaser that released yesterday has the fans going crazy over the actor's fierce and powerful role. The dialogues would give any Manchu Manoj fan goosebumps.

The release date is yet to be announced and maybe it will be added to the trailer. So till then let's watch the teaser and wait for the official confirmation on the release date of this much-awaited film of 2017 which is hopefully not the last film for the actor we all love.
