Verdict: An old formula – rinsed and repeated.

When you picture an action-comedy starring Zach Galifianakis, you expect what is up your platter. Well, the movie doesn't disappoint there but it doesn't really come across as breath of fresh air. Directed by Jared Hess, the man behind Napoleon Dynamite, the movie does manage to throw up the funnies but you are left wanting for more.

Based on a true story, the plot revolves around David Ghantt (Zach Galifianakis), stuck in the monotony of life, drives around armored vehicles transporting large sum of taxpayer's money. His love interest, Kelly (Kristen Wiig), is a heart-throb who flirts and manipulates men. She puts this age-old skill to use in manipulating David into robbing Loomis Fargo after Steve (Owen Wilson), a small time thief convinces her that this could be their biggest gig ever. As the story progresses, a series of events unfold and there on the film intends to be a laugh riot.

Firstly, you would love Galifianakis in this movie. He carries the entire weight of film on his shoulders alone. He is so natural that you will probably start believing that he pretty much leads the same life as the central character in this movie. He has nailed it yet again. Secondly, Wiig does a wonderful job in terms of acting and being beautiful on screen. Special mention here goes out to Jandice (Kate McKinnon), who plays David’s estranged wife.

When you have got performers like this together in a film, an occasional joke emerges. The movie had so much potential to be more than just a slapstick comedy and delve into the characters more but it eventually disappoints.

Why You Should Watch It : Calling all Zach Galifianakis fans in the house, you should not be missing this. He never ceases to amaze us. This will definitely tickle your funny bone and you can very well watch this with a bunch of your goofy friends over this weekend.
