He is the bad boy. He is “Prem” the lover boy. He is the king of entertainment. He is “The Dabanng.” Yes, he is none other then Salman Khan aka Salman Bhai.  These days Salman Khan and Bigg Boss 7 is the hot topic everywhere… from Social Media to coffee-table discussions. We just can’t stop talking about him.
From Biwi Ho to Aisi (1988), his first film to Bigg Boss, Salman has come a long way. In all these years, Salman has made mark for himself. His quirky dance moves, his one-liners and his hosting style made him one of the most-loved stars of Bollywood. No matter how ridiculous the script is, if there is Salman Khan, the movie will sell like hot cakes.
We have seen him as the lover boy, the guy-next-door, the mad man, action hero and so much more. Here we have listed out some of the avatars of Salman Khan till now.

The Lover Boy
“Agar tum mujhe yunhi dekhti rahi… toh tumhe mujhse pyar ho jayega” – Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.
Meet Sameer/Prem. The charming guy with a winsome smile. The kind of guy who can make your heart melt with corny one-liners. Forget real life but in reel life, no one can be more romantic than Salman Khan. People still remember the onscreen chemistry of Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam – the madness… the innocence… and the despair. Even in his very masochistic role as Inspector Chulbul Pandey in Dabangg, Salman wooed his lady love with style.

The Funny Guy
“Mussal dekha mussal… masal ke rakh doonga” – Andaz Apna Apna

Said a very skinny Salman Khan back in 1994 in the movie Andaz Apna Apna. The movie was a laugh riot. And one of the movies you can watch innumerable times. Thanks to the Aamir-Salman combo and some epic puns. Again Chulbul Pandey is worth mentioning. Come on! Who can forget the dialogue “Hum tum mein itne ched karenge… ki confuse ho jaoge ki saans kahan se le… aur paadein kahan se”. In fact, in all of Salman Khan’s movies there is always a slice of humor to delight the viewers.

The Rock-solid Action Hero
“Daayaan haath jeb mein rakh lo seth… varna zindagi bhar aapko baayein haath se khana-khana padega” – Karan Arjun
He may not be the best action hero in Bollywood but we love watching Salman Khan doing the most impossible stunts. The goons getting tossed, walls breaking and the sounds of bones cracking with just a killer punch. Be it the angry young guy “Karan” from Karan Arjun (1995) or top spy “code-named Tiger” of Ek Tha Tiger (2012) Salman has done some real kickass action on screen. “Zindagi mein teen cheez kabhi underestimate nahi karna, I, me and myself,” said an intense Salman Khan in Ready (2011).

The Witty TV Host
Salman Khan is the highest-paid television show host now, and why not, he is smart, suave and has got a wicked sense of humor. Salman joined “Bigg Boss” in its fourth season and hosting it since then. Well, there are controversies everywhere, but that’s what makes a show spicier. Salman’s on-screen spontaneity and slapstick humor, sets him apart from the rest.

If you haven’t seen much of Salman Khan on the big screen this year, don’t worry because Salman will be back in Sohail Khan’s “Jai Ho” due to release in January 2014. It is a remake of Telugu-film, Stalin by A.R. Murugadoss.  Besides that, Kick, Oh Teri, and Gabbar are some movies of Salman Khan which are lined up for release in 2014. We have also heard that makers of an upcoming animation film “Mahabharat” want Salman Khan to voice the character of Lord Krishna. Now that is something really interesting
