Tigmanshu Dhulia's Raag Desh, a movie based on the Indian National Army, is all set to hit the cinemas on the 28th of July. The National Award winning filmmaker who has previously given us movies like Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster and Paan Singh Tomar says that the Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh and Mohit Marwah starrer is his first war movie. While the excitement of how the movie is going to be is on, and you must know some facts before you go and watch the movie.

The story of the movie revolves around The Red Fort Trial of three men of the INA, who were accused of conducting war against the British.

Since it's a true story, it is said to even have snippets of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose who led the freedom struggle. How can one forget the famous war cry, “Tum mujhe khoon do, main tumhe azaadi doonga." 

It's the first movie in Bollywood to have its trailer launched in the Parliament. Post this, it was attached to the movie Tubelight for mass viewership.

And if you thought that was a big thing, then let us tell you, the funds of this movie are backed by Rajya Sabha.

There is also going to be a special screening of Raag Desh at the Rashtrapati Bhavan for the President Pranab Mukherjee.
