Now this one’s a sequel to the 2004 hit sex comedy ‘Masti’; but seems to be a remake of the Hollywood film ‘American Reunion’.
With the same team of actors, writers and director coming back, will the makers be able to tickle your funny bone in ‘Masti 2’ as well ?.
Our in-house expert and ace astro-numerologist Bhavikk Sangghvi predicts the fate of this adult fare:
“The title ‘GRAND MASTI’ is adding up to Number 28 – an octave of Number 1 (Sun) which is a number of contradictions. It symbolizes a person of great promise and possibilities who is likely to see all taken away from them; unless they carefully arrange for the future. It also indicates loss through trust in others, opposition and competition in trade, danger of loss through law and the likelihood of having to begin life’s road over and over again” explains Bhavikk.
“As per the numerological meaning derived, the film will receive mostly negative reviews and get thumbs down from the critics, but its target audience (read mainly the youth) will take to the film in a big way and make it a ‘grand’ success” predicts Bhavikk.
‘Also, the ‘destiny’ number arrived from the film’s release date – 13th September 2013 is Number 1 which goes in sync with the vibration of the title which is 28 (1)”
“Talking of performances, the year 2013 which adds up to Number 6 (Venus) is likely to prove lucky for most Number 3, 6, 8 and 9 people and Vivek Oberoi (3rd September 1976), Riteish Deshmukh (17th December 1978), Karishma Tanna (21st December 1983), Bruna Abdullah (24th October 1986), Sonalee Kulkarni (18th May 1988) and Maryam Zakaria (27th September 1984) all fall in to this bracket directly” he adds.
“No prizes for guessing these set of actors will be appreciated the most and will walk away with the laurels”.
“Even producer Ashok Thakeria (27th April) and director Indra Kumar (9th February) come under this category and their effort will pay off making them laugh all the way to the bank” he adds further.
“Coming back to the release date, Friday – the 13th of September is a day primarily ruled by Number 4 (Rahu) and Numbers 1, 2, 4 and 7 are considered as a ‘family’ in numerology” he enlightens.
“Going by that theory, actors Aftab Shivdasani (25th June 1978), Manjari Phadnis (10th July 1984) and Kainaat Arora (2nd December 1982) will prove to be the ‘dark horses’ of this enterprise”.
“In short, it will be double the ‘masti’, double the fun in this double meaning comedy this time around. Critics be ‘damned’ !” signs off Bhavikk on a blunt note.
