He punches, kicks and smashes the bad guys so hard, that they go against the force of gravity and swing in the air! We couldn’t agree more when he gets a high-action introduction, and mouths the line ‘I am back’. And, the man who treats his audience with this level of excitement is none other than ‘mass maharaja’, Ravi Teja. Packing a punch with the trailer, Ravi Teja promises some mass entertainment with his latest film, Power. The film is all set to release this Friday, September 12. We give you reasons why this film is most-likely to score gold at the Box Office:
1. Ravi Teja’s ‘Power’
After setting cash registers ringing with his last release Balupu, Ravi Teja is keen on continuing the success streak with Power. Spanning a career of over two-decades, the actor has created a niche for himself in Tollywood. Going by the number of views on the trailer (over 1 lakh views), it is safe to say that the actor’s massive fan following is waiting to see his exuberant on-screen presence, yet again.
2. Ravi Teja’s police avatar
Ravi Teja will reprise two different looks in the film and one of them, is the role of a cop. Playing the role of a tough police officer isn’t new to the actor, as he played similar roles in the films Vikramarkudu (2006), Mirapakaya (2011) and Zanjeer (2013) in Bollywood. And these films turned out to be blockbusters. The khakhi ‘power’ might work wonders for this film as well.
3. Thaman’s foot-tapping music
Currently the most-sought-after musician in Tollywood, Thaman has created magic with the music of Power. With visually-stunning visuals that complement the rocking numbers, the audience is sure to be enthralled. The song ‘Nuvu Nenu’ is already a chartbuster. Since Thaman’s music has always been a backbone for mass entertainers, it is needless to say that the same magic will work here.
4. Exclusive solo-release
A well-fleshed biggie, starring the ‘Mass Maharaja’ deserves a solo outing at the Box Office. It has definitely managed to bag the coveted solo release spot on Friday. RGV’s Anukshanam is set to release a day later, on the 13th. Due to its low pre-release buzz, trade analysts have low hopes on Anukshanam. But there is danger ahead, as Mahesh Babu’s Aagadu will release on September 19. Power will have one week to rake in good collections, and might even go on to break records, despite the stiff competition ahead.
Produced by Rockline Entertainments, the film is directed by debutant, K.S.Ravindra aka Bobby. The film also stars Hansika Motwani, Regina Cassandra and Brahmanandam.
With the right mix of action, comedy and romance; it looks like Power will certainly create a powerful impact among the audience.
So, are you ready to watch ACP Baldev Sahay defeat the forces of evil with his ‘Power’? We certainly are!
