Film Review: While We’re Young

If you are of a certain age – basically somewhere in the 40s like I am – While We’re Young will give you a rush of recognition. Like middle age, this film has ache and wisdom. The moments of joy are tinged with disappointments, regret at opportunities lost and roads not taken. Not to mention the fraying body parts – when Josh, played by Ben Stiller, is told he has arthritis, he keeps repeating it in bewilderment, until the doctor explains, as if to an idiot, arthritis is a degradation of the joints.
