Verdict: A totally different avatar of the DID dancing stars.
Dance India Dance has given us many dancing stars to date. Right from Dharmesh Sir to Raghav who’s known as the Crockroaxz, everyone extremely talented. We have seen some of these dancers before on the big screen in the ABCD movies. Now Dharmesh, Punit, and Raghav have tried their hands in acting once again with their latest Bollywood movie – Nawabzaade.
What’s Nawaabzaade About:
Three friends Salim (Dharmesh Yelande), Karan (Raghav Juyal), and Abhishek (Punit Pathak) set out to find love for each other and fall for the same girl. Now all three of them try and impress the girl and her family in order to get married to her. But this pursuits somehow lands them in the lock-up. How this happens is for you to find out.
Dharmesh Yelande, Raghav Juyal, and Punit Pathak – all three have made their name in the dance circuit but this movie is going to make you expect a lot more from them. Yes, there are more than two dance numbers in the movie but it is not a dance film like the ABCD series. Nawabzaade shows a totally different side of them. They have acted to entertain the audience and have landed comedy punches left, right, and center. The movie also stars comedy actors like Vijay Raaz and Mukesh Tiwari who have definitely made the movie funnier.
Nawaabzaade has a few cameos too. You’ll see Athiya Shetty, Badhshah, Shraddha Kapoor, and Varun Dhawan dancing along with the lead actors. The movie starts with a dance number and it ends with one and both these songs and the many songs in between are something you can look forward to.
What Could Have Been Better:
All the three lead actors of the movie are great dancers. While it was a different experience watching them act and make us laugh, we expected a few more dance sequences.
Why You Should Watch:
We have seen them dance, we have seen them judge other dancers, and this is the chance to see these dancing stars act to entertain you. If you are a fan of dancing and Dharmesh, Raghav or Punit, this one is a must watch for you.
