Manasuku Nachindi: Film Review – A Feel-good Love Triangle

Verdict: Manjula strikes gold in her directorial debut.

Manjula Ghattamaneni, Super Star Mahesh Babu's sister, is making her debut as a director with Manasuku Nachindi, which stars Sundeep Kishan and Amyra Dastur in lead roles, along with Tridha Choudhury, Adith Arun, Priyadarshi, Baby Jhanvi, Nasser and Punarnavi in prominent roles among the rest of the cast. This also marks the debut of Amyra Dastur in Tollywood. The music and background score has been composed by Radhan and the cinematography has been done by Ravi Yadav. Manasuku Nachindhi has been bankrolled by Sanjay Swaroop and P. Kiran under the banners Anandi Art Creations and Indira Productions. The teasers and theatrical trailers have generated decent buzz among the audience. Let’s see what Manjula had to convey to movie lovers through her first directorial movie, Manasuku Nachindi.

What’s Mansuku Nachindi About:

Manasuki Nachindi starts with Prince Mahesh Babu's voice-over and shifts to an interesting note where Suraj (Sundeep Kishan) and Nithya (Amyra Dastur) run away from their own wedding along with their friends to Goa for a vacation. Suraj and Nithya are best buddies. Suraj has a passion for photography while Nithya is a nature lover. As the title suggests, Nithya always follows her heart. Suraj happens to meet Nikita (Tridha Choudhary) while Nithya meets Abhay (Adith Arun). While these pairs gel along well with each other, Nithya starts realizing that she is in love with Suraj. What happens next in this triangle love story must be seen on big screen.

What Works:

The cinematography is the heart and soul of Manasuku Nachindi. Ravi Yadav’s camera work is splendid with endearing visuals capturing the nature. The chemistry between Sundeep and Amyra is a treat to watch. Amyra makes a promising debut in Tollywood and her smile brightens up the screen. Sundeep is back on track to success with Manasuku Nachindi after going through a lean phase recently. Jhanavai as Amyra’s sister is awesome and makes a wonderful debut as child artiste. The music and the background score have been brilliantly composed and blend perfectly with this feel-good love story. Manjula needs to be commended for her directorial debut, as it doesn’t seem like she's new at this. Priyadarshi, Nassar, Tridha, and Adith are decent in the characters they portrayed. All the dialogues that relate to nature and love are well written. Every penny that is spent on the movie is clearly translated on the screen with grand visuals and encapsulating locales.

What Could Have Been Better:

The predictability factor in the story and narration is a minus. However, that can be neglected if you do not expect a lot of twists factors and go for a simple, sweet love story.

Why You Should Watch:

You must watch Manasuki Nachindhi for its feel-good entertaining love story that captures the essence of nature in the most beautiful way. A neat and clean movie that will thoroughly be enjoyed by friends and families. Book for the weekend.
