Verdict: A beautiful, emotional bond between two brothers.
Jyo Achyuthananda is produced by Sai Korrapati under the Varahi Chalana Chitram banner. This is Srinivas Avasarala’s second movie as a director, after the critically acclaimed Oohalu Gussagussalade. An interesting aspect of this project is the combination of Nara Rohith and Naga Shourya in the lead roles. Though it is being called a movie with a moderate budget, there is high speculation around the trade circles and public. Let’s see if Srinivas was able to repeat the magic he created with his debut directorial venture again.

Achyut (Nara Rohith) and Anand (Naga Shourya) are brothers in a family that is like any other middle-class family. Jyotsna (Regina Cassandra) rents the upper portion in their home and lives with her father. The conflict between these three lead characters forms the crux of Jyo Atchyutananda.

Jyo Achyutananda Telugu Film Review - BookMyShow

Nara Rohith and Naga Shourya have given remarkable performances and they looked quite natural playing brothers. All the confrontational scenes between these on-screen siblings worked big time. Their comedy will leave the audience in splits. Watch out for three hilarious scenes – the tennis court scene, the paint scene and the cigarette scene. There is a huge improvement in their comic timing when compared to their earlier movies. Regina is apt in her role. She looks her part, that of a middle-class girl, and has given a decent performance. It was refreshing to see Sita play the role of the lead characters' mother. The rest of the cast did a pretty good job as well. One nice factor that works for Jyo Atchyutananda is that there is no character that is wasted. Every character is important and the casting seems perfect.

Srinivas Avasarala has excelled in his job again, as the writer-director. He has also worked on the story and screenplay. The screenplay of the movie is very refreshing and interesting, especially in the first 30 minutes. Music and background score by Kalyan Koduri are excellent. It gave the much required classy flavor and brought life to Jyo Atchyutananda. The Lalana song will be remembered as one of the most melodious songs in the recent times. Photography is top notch. All the visuals looked great. The runtime is compact and helped the movie in keeping the viewers engaged. Production values by Varahi Chalana Chitram are great, as usual. One must appreciate Sai Korrapati's efforts  to make classical and meaningful movies that other producers don't dare to attempt.

Why You Should Watch This Movie:

If you are a lover of classic romantic movies, then this one is for you. Not just romantic, it has huge doses of comedy as well. Overall, Jyo Achyutananda is a very well-made emotional entertainer for the entire family and is very refreshing. So, what are you waiting for? Go book a ticket and get entertained for a couple of hours.
