Luckunnodu: Film Review- BookMyShow

Manchu Vishnu as Lucky gave a matured performance and his comedy timing is excellentHansika Motwani as Lucky’s love interest shined in the role of Positive Padma. The chemistry between the lead pair is good. Dr. Mohan Babu played a cameo in the first song and is seen dancing with Vishnu. Prabhas Seenu as Pulihora did a wonderful job. Raghu Babu as Lucky’s uncle is hilarious and entertaining. Venella Kishore as C.E.O of Kony Solutions was able to make the audience laugh as well. Thanikella Bharani as Padma’s father Padmarao did justice to his role. Suresh and Posani were seen in the role of cops and are introduced in the second half of the movie. Rest of the cast is adequate. M.V.V. Satyanarayana as the lead antagonist could have done better.

Writer and director Raaja Kiran needs to be appreciated for churning a comedy family entertainer without any dull moments. Editing is crisp and the runtime is limited to less than two hours. Dialogues by Diamond Rathna Babu are a big asset to Luckunnodu. There are four songs in the movie with each of them being unique in their own way. Music and background score is good and cinematography is neat. All frames looked grand and production values are great.
