Verdict: A scintillating love story!
It took almost three years for Virinchi Varma to come up with his second directorial venture after the highly successful Uyyala Jampala. This time, he has joined hands with Nani, who is on a winning streak with hattrick hits with Bale Bale MagadivoiKrishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha and the recent hit Gentleman. It is also Nani’s third release this year as a solo lead. This combination made Majnu a crazy project in trade circles and raised curiosity among the audience. Let’s see if they were able to come out with flying colors.
Aditya (Nani) is an assistant director to S.S.Rajamouli and currently working for Baahubali. He sees Suma (Priya Shri) and falls in love at first sight. They get to know each other through a mutual friend, Kasi. A situation arises when Adi has to narrate his past to Suma. Adi hails from Bhimavaram and falls in love at first sight with Kiran (Anu Emmanuel). He comes to know that Kiran studies in the same college where he used to  and joins as a junior lecturer to impress Anu. As time progresses, they both had fallen in love with each other. But due to minor misunderstandings, they had to part ways.

Impressed with Adi’s past, Suma falls in love with Adi. Will Adi love Suma? Will he realize the true love in the form of Kiran? Is there any twist in the tale? To know all these, book a slot for a couple of hours to see Majnu.

Majnu Telugu Film Review - BookMyShow
Nani, as Aditya, is at his best. He is so natural in his acting; no wonder he hass gained the status of a natural star. Anu Emmanuel makes a fantastic debut and is beautiful in the role of Kiran. Priya Shri also made a decent debut and was apt in her role. Watch out for S.S.Rajamouli in a cameo role. Raj Tarun has done a cameo as well and will be seen in an important character in the later part of the movie. Venella Kishore, Posani Krishna Murali and Sapthagiri played their roles well.
Written and directed by Virinchi Varma, the film succeeds in nurturing a pleasant love story that works well with the audience. Without a doubt, Majnu is a good second venture after Uyyala Jampala. Music and the background score by Gopi Sunder are top notch and cinematography by Gnanasekhar is excellent.

Why You Should Watch This Movie:

Watch Majnu for its pleasantness and lovable execution of a beautiful love story. You will adore the chemistry between Nani and Anu. In this pleasant weather, Majnu will be a treat to watch for the youth who are in love and who want to be loved.
