Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo: Film Review – Worth The Wait!

Verdict: Action-packed adventurous classical thriller!
Gautham Vasudev Menon, A.R. Rahman and Naga Chaitanya have joined hands together for the second time after their successful Ye Maaya Chesave. Expectations were rife when this project was announced due to the crazy combination. But for some unknown reason, the release date of Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo got delayed several times and this lowered the already garnered expectations. Let’s see if it is worth the wait.

Naga Chaithanya is
middle-class guy who stays with his parents and two sisters. He completes his graduation and does masters as he cannot find a job. His passion and his first love is his Royal Enfield bike followed by two unsuccessful love affairs. One fine day he comes across his sister’s friend Leela (Manjima Mohan) and falls in love with her. They come to know each other well and plan to go for a long ride in his bike across India. They meet with a very bad accident on their travel. What happens next? Who is responsible for this mishap? Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo Telugu Film Review - BookMyShowThere is no doubt that Naga Chaitanya is going through the best phase of his career. After the recent success Premam, he appears to be on a winning streak with Sahasam Swaasaga Saagipo. He is evolving as a better actor with every movie and this is one of his career best performance. He looked natural at all times – during romance, action and comedy. Manjima Mohan makes a very impressive debut with his flick and has enough scope to portray varied emotions throughout the movie. She is lucky to have a dream launch working with the brilliant team for her debut flick. What more could she have asked for? Baba Sehgal excelled as the ruthless cop and gave an intense and subtle performance. One of the major highlights of the movie is Satish Krishnan who played hero’s friend. His comedy worked big time. Rest of the cast played their roles perfectly.
Written and directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, this is one of the best 
movie of his career. One could visibly see his sign in each and every frame throughout the movie. Music and background score by A.R. Rahman is magical. Added to his music is the brilliant cinematography by Dan Macarthur. All the visuals looked great. Editing by Anthony is slick. Production values by Dwaraka Creations are great.
