Verdict: Four heroes come together and strike gold.

It has been a very long time we come to see four heroes acting together in a Telugu movie. Sriram Aditya has been successful in bringing together Aadi Saikumar, Sundeep Kishan, Sudheer Babu, Nara Rohith and Rajendra Prasad together to act in lead roles for Shamantakamani. Story, screenplay, dialogues and direction are handled by Sriram Aditya and is produced by V. Anand Prasad under Bhavya Creations banner. The trailer of this movie was applauded by critics and movie lovers and has raised the expectations of this movie. Let us see if the team was able to succeed in nurturing a good product and creating a trend of sorts by bringing back the glory of multi-starrer movies.

Shamantakamani is a Rolls Royce car worth 5 crores that is purchased by Krishna’s father Suman (Sudheer Babu). Krishna parks his car in a parking area of a plush five star hotel Provotel and heads to throw a party to his friends at the hotel. When he comes back, the car is seen missing. Inspector Ranjith Kumar (Nara Rohit) handles the case and after looking at the CCTV footage of the hotel, he interrogates Mahesh Babu (Rajendra Prasad), Karthik (Aadhi Saikumar) and Kotipalli Shiva (Sundeep Kishan). Who has stolen the car and are the police successful in getting hold of the culprits?

Shamantakamani - BookMyShowSriram Adittya should be appreciated for sticking to the script and not adding any commercial elements. Though there are four heroes and Rajendra Prasad in an important role, he didn’t try to give prominence to them by sidelining the story. After watching the movie, one gets a feeling that the car Shamantakamani is the real hero. All the lead actors excelled in their roles and gave fantastic performances as they stuck to their characters. The music and background score by Mani Sharma is a huge plus. The cinematography by Sameer Reddy is awesome. He got all the frames right. Both the music and the cinematography gel well with the flow of the movie. The editing is crisp and Prawin Pudi did an excellent job. There are no songs in this movie which is an added advantage as it would have spoiled the flow of narration. With a run time of just over two hours, Shamantakamani excels in all crafts of filmmaking and it is indeed a welcome sign to Telugu film Industry in creating a trend for multi starrer projects.

Why you should watch this movie:

You should watch his movie for its freshness and its novel approach in filmmaking. There are no boring moments and the director has succeeded in sticking to simplicity without any deviations. Shamantakamani has undoubtedly opened new doors to script writers.
