The wait is finally over. Sachin: A Billion Dreams will hit the screens tomorrow. The movie/documentary has been in the news for a while and the release date was pushed for various reasons. A few reports suggest that since some of the footage used in the film officially belonged to the BCCI, the film was facing difficulties getting cleared. The cricketing board had its reservations and also wanted to be paid rather than giving the clips for free. So, like M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story does Sachin: A Billion Dreams feature a Bollywood actor as the cricketer? Well, the answer to that is NO. Unlike most biopics in which a big Bollywood star is signed on to play the sportsperson, Sachin Tendulkar will be seen as himself in the movie based on his life.

Sachin: A Billion Dreams is more of a documentary which will feature the cricketer's journey to the proverbial summit. It will show how he began playing the sport, got selected for the national team and went on to become one of the greatest cricketers ever. The premier of Sachin: A Billion Dreams was held in Mumbai yesterday and Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Yuvraj Singh were a few of the attendees. The movie will be out tomorrow. Make sure you watch it on the first day itself and don't forget to read our review of Sachin: A Billion Dreams
