Brahms, the eerie porcelain doll with a dark secret, horrified viewers in the 2016 film, The Boy. The film uncovered terrifying twists in the elderly Heelshire couple’s home with Lauren Cohan taking on the most nightmarish babysitting job as Greta. Now, Brahms is set to make his return with a brand new friend in Brahms: The Boy II.

With Greta’s nightmare coming to an end in the first film, this follow-up will introduce us to brand new characters. It is said to follow the story of a new family that moves into the Heelshire mansion, unaware of the house’s dark past. The youngest son seemingly finds and befriend the porcelain doll, Brahms. We get a glimpse of that friendship in the first look of this sequel which features a roughed-up version of the same spooky doll with a young boy’s hand over its mouth. We later got a look at Christopher Convery as the young boy. Check it out below:

Brahms: The Boy II will see the return of the original film’s director William Brent Bell as well as scriptwriter Stacey Menear. Famous for her role in the TV series Dawson’s Creek, Katie Holmes will play a lead role in the film. Joining her in the cast is Ralph Ineson who has played parts in several iconic series like Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Game of Thrones.

The horror sequel was originally set for a July 26 release in 2019 alongside other spooky doll horrors Annabelle Comes Home and Child’s Play and was later pushed to hit cinemas in December. Just when audiences began to wonder about the minimal buzz around the movie, the film’s release has now been pushed to 21st February, 2020.
