Hindi Cinema is brimming with extremely talented singers; there’s no doubt about that. But you have to agree that Mika Singh has definitely carved a niche for himself. Along with being the wonderful singer that he is, his confidence, authentic Punjabi energy and baritone voice have helped him belt out superhit and blockbuster songs. And the most amazing fact is that some of these songs were picturized on our favorite Bollywood stars!

Yes, despite starting out late in Hindi cinema (he made his Bollywood singing debut in 2006), Mika’s career progressed exceptionally, making him one of B-Town’s favorite singers. With his career graph progressing steadily at present, we decided to list some of the Bollywood stars who have danced to Mika’s tunes (No pun intended!).

After delivering back-to-back hits like Dil Tod Ke Na Ja, Dil Mein Baji Guitar and the famous Aye Ganpat, Mika grabbed the opportunity to lend his voice to Mauja Hi Mauja. A song picturized on the vivacious star of Bollywood, Shahid Kapoor. Mika’s energetic vocals and Shahid’s exuberant dance steps worked out brilliantly, giving the masses an entertaining song! Yet another popular Mika-Shahid song that created a buzz was the scintillating track Gandi Baat (R…Rajkumar).

Then came Sing is Kinng! The song Bas Ek King featuring Akshay Kumar went on to become the trending slogan of that year! All thanks to Mika’s resounding vocals and Akshay’s charming personality! The two collaborated again on popular tracks like Dhanno (Housefull), Subah Hone Na De (Desi Boyz) and Chinta Ta Chita Chita (Rowdy Rathore).

After Kumar, Mika finally made it to the Khan brigade with the blockbuster and the most entertaining song of 2011, Dhinka Chika. Mika’s boisterous voice and Salman’s distinctive dance style made the song an overnight sensation! Khan and Mika partnered yet again for the songs Desi Beats (Bodyguard) and last year’s superhit song Jumme Ki Raat (Kick).

Mika struck gold again with the outlandish yet peppy number Pyaar Ki Pungi pictured on the Nawab, Saif Ali Khan. Considered an item number, it definitely created a lot more buzz than the movie itself!

From there, Mika’s career kept progressing and how! He recently lent his voice to the playful number Party Toh Banti Hai featuring none other than Amitabh Bachchan! Check out the song below:

And it doesn’t end there; Mika had a great 2014. Not only did he get a chance to sing for Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, but also voiced the track Nonsense Ki Night in Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster film, Happy New Year!

A power-packed entertainer, isn’t he? With sold-out concerts and shows worldwide, Mika is undoubtedly the ‘King of Entertainment” when it comes to music in Bollywood.
