4 things you need to know about Trisha

 She’s one of the best and most sought-after actresses in the South film industry. Her beauty, grace and ever charming smile has won her several fans. And she has been ruling the film industry for more than a decade. The actress who holds all this to her credit is, Trisha Krishnan. Trisha started her career in 2002 with the Tamil film Mouna Pesiyadhe, and has starred in several films opposite Kamal Haasan, Mahesh Babu, Nagarjuna and Puneeth Rajkumar. We bring you a few facts about Trisha that you must know:

1.Trisha’s first music video
Now, for those of you who aren’t familiar with Hindi pop music, this is definitely a new piece of information. Before becoming a movie star, Trisha’s first on-screen appearance was in pop star Falguni Pathak’s music video – Meri Chunar Udd Udd. She co-starred with actress Ayesha Takia in the video. 2. First cameo
*Rewind, no even more. Pause please* these are were our exact thoughts when we spotted Trisha’s 2-minute cameo in the 1999 Tamil movie, Jodi. With long curly hair and minimal make-up, Trisha looked almost unrecognizable in this film. Who knew that this girl would turn into a sensation later?

3. PETA Ambassador
Trisha is a ardent animal lover, and urges people to adopt pets. Trisha has served as a Goodwill Ambassador for Angels For Animals campaign organised by PETA. The adorable pictures carrying pups and dogs posted on her social media page also serve as a proof!
4. Alternate Career
After completing her education, Trisha aspired to become a criminal psychologist. But her ambitious efforts were stalled when she began receiving acting offers. And her risk has definitely paid off! In 2010, NDTV awarded her The Indian of the year award‘ under the Southern Star category. She has also won the Tamil Nadu State film award and the Andhra Pradesh Nandi Award. Now that’s something!
