7 Kollywood films to watch out for in the second half of 2015

The year 2015 started with a bang! Big budget films and films starring popular heroes all seemed to win the attention of the audience. 2015 also saw small-budget films doing quite well. Wondering why we’re recollecting these stats? Well, that’s because we have crossed the first half of 2015, and entered the second half. This means that we’re awaiting the release of several other exciting films that are slated to releases in the coming year. If 2015 started out so well, then imagine the line-up of movies that’ll entertain us in the next few months. From action films to rom-coms, we’ll get to see a variety of genres at the box office. Here’s what’s in store for you:
Big release date: September
Cast: Vijay, Hansika Motwani, Sridevi, Shruthi Haasan
The Attraction Factor: 
This is the first time Vijay will star in this genre, and will be playing the role of a warrior. Sridevi returns to Tamil films after a hiatus of 20 years. 
Big release date: Diwali (November)
Cast: Ajith, Shruthi Haasan, Lakshmi Menon
The Attraction Factor:
After the success of Veeram, Ajith and director Siva have teamed up for this biggie. One of the most-anticipated projects of this year, this untitled project will focus on the brother-sister sentiments (played by Ajith and Lakshmi Menon). Ajith will be seen in his trademark salt-and-pepper look. 
Suriya’s 24
Big release date: December
The Attraction Factor:
After directing the superhit Telugu film, Manam and  the 2009 Tamil film Yavarum Nalam, Vikram Kumar re-enters Kollywood with this film. Reports suggest that Suriya will be seen in a triple role in this film. The music of this film has been composed by A. R. Rahman. The film has been produced by Suriya’s prodution house – 2D Entertainment.
10 Enradhukulla
Big release date: October 2, 2015
Cast: Vikram, Samantha, Charmee, Jackie Shroff
The Attraction Factor:
This film will be Vikram’s first big release after the success of I. Directed by Vijay Milton, who shot to fame with Goli Soda, this is said to be a road-thriller. The team also roped in India’s F1 racing driver, Narain Karthikeyan, for the action sequence involving a race car.The film will  also mark the return of Jackie Shroff [last seen in Aaranya Kaandam], who will play the antagonist.

Cast: Silambarasan, Nayantara
The Attraction Factor:
Ex-flames Silambarasan and Nayantara have teamed up to work on this breezy rom-com. Directed by Pandiraj, the film also features Andrea and Jai in pivotal roles. 
Big release date: September 2nd
Cast: Vishal and Kajal Aggarwal
The Attraction Factor:
The story of the film is said to be based on real events. Set in the city of Madurai, this crime thriller will see Vishal play the role of an undercover officer. After the success of Pandiya Naadu, director Suseendran and Vishal team up for the second time.

Big release date: August
Cast: Radhika Prasidhha, Master Ajay, Sai Rajkumar, Pavel Navageethan

The Attraction Factor: 
Winner of the National Award for Best Movie in Tamil. Kuttram Kadithal is the story of five characters and how their lives get connected through a certain incident. The plot of the film is said to convey a social message. Kuttram Kadithal has also won the Best Tamil Film Award at the 12th Chennai International Film Festival. Kuttram Kadithal is also the only Tamil film to be screened at the Indian Panorama Film Festival 2014, held at Goa.
