Karthik Subbaraj is one of the few new-gen directors who gained appreciation right for his first film – Pizza. A horror film, Pizza reintroduced the genre and set the horror film trend in Tamil cinema. His second outing, Jigarthanda, won him accolades and the film grabbed two National awards as well. Now filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj is ready with his third film – Iraivi (Goddess). The film is said to highlight the importance of woman in a man’s life; which explains the tag line – The story of every woMEN. The film features Anjali, Kamalini Mukherjee, Pooja Devariya, Vijay Sethupathi, Bobby Simha and S. J. Suryah.

The team promoted their film in unique ways. They promoted the film’s trailer by installing a mini LCD in a few autos in Chennai and those who travel by the autos would have a chance to watch the trailer.
