The last time Madhavan was seen in a Tamil film, it was the multi-starrer – Vettai in 2012. Now, the dashing actor is all set to star in Irundhi Suttru – a film that will be released in Tamil and Hindi. The trailers of the film was revealed by actor Sivakarthikeyan recently, and received a positive response. Both Tamil and Hindi trailers are presented in a different style, revealing two different angles of the story. 

The 1 minute 40 seconds long trailer tells us about the life of a troubled boxing coach, who has been framed in a sexual assault case. In an effort to prove his critics wrong and to revive his boxing career, he decides to coach a young fisherwoman, who has has had no formal introduction to the sport. He also decides to make her victorious at a boxing game. 
In the trailer, Madhavan looks very enraged, and seems like a stern and eccentric man. While debutant Ritika Singh portrays the role of a tough, young girl, showing a lot of promise in her performance. 
Produced by ace director Rajkumar Hirani, the music of the film has been composed by noted Tamil music composer, Santosh Narayanan.  The film is expected to hit screens in January, 2016. You can watch the trailer here:
