The answer lies here. The actress who is also referred to as Lady Superstar has had a fairly decent year so far. Aramm will be Nayanthara's second film this year after Dora, which released in March. Dora may not have had the success that the actress hoped for but looking at the trailer of Aramm we can say that she will end her year at the box-office on a high.
Aramm, directed by Gopi Nainar, is gearing up for a 10th November release. The film revolves around Madhivadhani, a strong-willed district collector in Tamil Nadu and her attempt at helping the farmers in her district. Nayanthara who plays the role of Madhivadhani looks powerful and takes on the bureaucracy and politics in the district. While dealing with the issue of water scarcity rampant in parts of rural Tamil Nadu, Madhivadhani faces many hurdles but how she handles all of them is what you will see on the 10th of November. Don't wait any longer, book your tickets before they sell out.
Bankrolled by Kotapadi J. Rajesh under the banner of KJR Films, Aramm's music includes songs like Melam Kottudaa Pudhu Varalaare and Thoranam Aayiram all of which goes perfectly with the mood of the film's plot. The barren lands, the faces of distressed farmers are all captured beautifully by the cinematographer Om Prakash as we saw in the trailer. Popular action stunt choreographer Peter Hein was roped in for the film.
Nayanthara, known for her strong market base has been bold to go solo with films like Maya and Anaamika which had her heading the entire film. Will Aramm be the films her fans have been waiting for? You should know the answer by now.
