If there is one director who can portray soul-stirring love stories in Tamil cinema, it’s Prabhu Solomon. His recent hits – Mynaa, Kumki and Kayal have all portrayed love in all of its simplicity. The director is now ready with his next project, and it stars the National Award-winning actor, Dhanush. This is the first time Solomon, who is otherwise known to cast fresh faces will be working with the actor.
Rumored to be titled ‘Rail’, the film is said to revolve around Poochiappan (Dhanush) and Saroja (Keerthy Suresh) whose love story begins in a train. Dhanush is said to play the role of a employee who works in the catering department of the Indian Railways.
Solomon and music composer D. Imman, who have been responsible for quite a few chartbusters in the past, have teamed up for this project once again. The film also features a bunch of other actors including Ganesh Venkatraman, Thambi Ramaiah, Radha Ravi, Harish Uthaman and Imman Annachi among others. Produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, the film is slated to release in February 2016.
