Kannada star Rakshit Shetty is back with a new and interesting project. The actor has not acted in a full-fledged role for almost four years now. His last movie in a lead role was Kirik Party (2016), which was a huge hit. Will his four years of hard work pay off? From the looks of the Avane Srimannarayana trailer, Rakshit Shetty may have another hit. If you haven’t watched the trailer yet, you are missing out big time. The four-minute-fourteen-second long trailer is simply spectacular. It’s a never-seen-before concept for Kannada cinema and is set to release in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi as well.
Avane Srimannarayana releases on the 27th of December, 2019. Directed by Sachin, Rakshit has also co-written the movie along with seven other screenwriters. The trailer opens in what is said to be a fictional deserted town in South India, where a cop (Rakshit) full of swag arrives at a salon where the board reads – Police Not Allowed. The salon is filled with dreaded criminals who the cop Srimannarayana battles with. The film has themes of fantasy and it could very well be playing in the protagonist’s head. There are also talks of missing loot that two gangs are after. The role of the cop in all this madness is uncertain.
Avane Srimannarayana has a completely new concept that could have the potential of having the audience hooked to the screen till the very end. The movie also stars Shanvi Srivastava, Balaji Manohar, Achyuth Kumar, Pramod Shetty, and Madhusudhan Rao. The Kannada audience will definitely be looking forward to Rakshit’s new film and it will be interesting to see how the Tamil, Telugu and Hindi audience reacts to his most ambitious project till date.
