As BookMyShow turns a decade old this year, we thought of glancing through all the good things Bollywood has given us in the last 10 years. Music and Bollywood share an unbreakable bond and we can’t imagine our films to be without songs at any point in time. While some songs become legendary, many others die down even before the year ends.

However, if you look back, you will find at least one song that made that year memorable; it can be a soft, emotional number or an item song. And when these songs play in the background, you can’t help but go back in past to relive all memories associated with them.

Here are the top ten songs in the last 10 years we can’t get enough of.

1.    Haule Haule (Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi) – 2008

Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma are all set to recreate magic onscreen with their latest film Jab Harry Met Sejal (See the trailer here). Till then, why don’t you listen to this blockbuster song from their first film together Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi that topped many charts back in 2008?

2.    Emotional Attyachar (Dev D) – 2009

This song from Anurag Kashyap’s film Dev D featured Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Sunil Grover pulling off their individual antics throughout the song. No matter how many times we listen to this, the hilarity of the song just doesn’t seem to wither.

3.    Sheila Ki Jaawani (Tees Maar Khan) – 2010

The song that made the country crazy, Sheila Ki Jawaani also made Katrina’s dance talent noticeable to the world. The song continued to top the music charts for quite some time.

4.    Chamak Challo (RaOne) -2011

Though the film did not manage to impress a lot of viewers, will always be remembered for Vishal-Shekhar's amazing collaboration with American rapper Akon.

5.    Tumhi Ho Bandhu (Cocktail) – 2012

For consecutive weeks, this upbeat party number from Cocktail ruled the charts and was also being played in all our parties and celebrations. No doubt, it was one of 2012’s grooviest numbers.

6.    Tum Hi Ho (Aashiqui 2) – 2013

Tum Hi Ho was not just a song but an anthem for all music lovers. Arijit Singh mesmerized everyone with his singing and this song just proves why he is the ultimate King of Romance.

Kangana Ranaut just killed it with her bindaas dance moves in this one. The song definitely stood out when it released in 2015.

9.    Ae Dil He Mushkil (Ae Dil He Mushkil) – 2016

All the hoopla around Ae Dil He Mushkil died down once it released but the two things we couldn’t get enough of were Aishwarya Rai and the film’s impressive music. The title track definitely made to the top five songs almost every week.
