The Tubelight trailer is out and it has pumped the adrenaline in our already excited minds. Salman Khan is ready with his Idi for all his fans again and it couldn't get better with Kabir Khan directing it. The duo has delivered blockbusters twice and the third one is ready to add another star to their partnership so far.

Set in the 60s with the backdrop of Indo-China war, the film is slightly inspired by the film Little Boy. Kabir Khan chose this subject because even though the film is set in 60s, the issue raised is relevant even today.

The trailer starts an announcement by an Indian Army officer from the Kumaon Regiment asking for support from the civilians as the border needs more people. An enthusiastic Laxman (Salman Khan) raises his brother Bharat's (Sohail Khan) hand with a good intent, little did he know that his brother will have to leave for the border himself. He follows them on a bicycle and is called by the name Tubelight when he falls from it. After not being able to hear from his brother for long, Laxman decides to stop the war in order to get his brother back.

Tubelight - BookMyShow

The border, the pursuit, and the innocence, all of it makes us reminisce Bajrangi Bhaijaan and it is going to make the wait even harder for all of us. It is rare for Sallu Bhai to do a role that is not Dabangg, but whenever he has taken up such a character, he has melted millions of hearts. Bhai is accompanied by his real brother Sohail Khan in the film along with Late.Om Puri and Mohammad Zeeshan Ayub. The film also marks the debut of the Chinese actor Zhu Zhu and child actor Matin Rey Tangu in Bollywood.

During the launch, Kabir Khan said that this film is going to be a different one because unlike the usual Salman who goes with the flow and his gut instinct, he has tried his best to get a grasp on this difficult character by practicing. We don't know why Kabir did this to us but now it will be even more difficult to find a show that isn't houseful.

Well, if you think that's all for now then we must tell you it isn't. This Eid is going to be extraordinary for all the Bollywood fans because it is in the news that this film is going to bring the legendary Karan-Arjun back on screen together after decades. Yes, now go and help increase the Internet traffic.

The film is slated to release on 25th of June 2017, and all we have to do it sit back, control our excitement and wait for #TubelightKiEid. Till then watch Bhai and a glimpse of what he has for us this Eid:

Stay tuned for the Tubelight review!
