Recently, a video of Anushka Sharma rounding up a man for littering on the road was posted on social media by Virat Kohli. For obvious reasons, Virat-Anushka’s cleanliness preaching got a little out of hands as they soon found the video to be the subject of innumerable memes and internet jokes.

The buzz around this video refuses to die down and has been receiving both negative and positive responses from netizens. Some called Anushka Sharma the true ambassador of ‘Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan’ while some believe that this is nothing but another attention seeking gimmick.

However, it might interest to you know that the person whom she thrashed was a child actor from the 90s, having worked with stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit.

Arhhan Singh, or Sunny as he was credited in the movies he worked in back then, has played Shah Rukh’s nephew in 1996’s’ English Babu Desi Mem‘ and a young Sanjay Kapoor in 1995’s ‘Raja’. He has also played Shekhar Suman’s son in 1993’s hit show ‘Dekh Bhai Dekh’.

Arhaan became social media’s favourite topic of discussion when Virat posted Anushka’s video of scolding him for throwing garbage on the road.

This is what he captioned the video-

“Saw these people throwing garbage on the road & pulled them up rightfully. Travelling in a luxury car and brains gone for a toss. These people will keep our country clean? Yeah right! If you see something wrong happening like this, do the same & spread awareness.”

Arhaan, however, has a totally different view of the matter. He said that “The garbage that mistakenly went out of the window of my luxury car… Was way less then the garbage that came out from your mouth”

Anushka has been criticized for not being polite while Virat has been questioned upon not blurring the man’s face. Arhaan’s mother also lashed out on the celebrity couple and here’s what she wrote on Instagram:

“As a mother,I would like to state that you have not only shamed my son @arhhansingh on social media by not blurring his face, but you’ve also exposed him to unwanted hostility…. and danger from fanatics for such a small thing that you claim he has done but have no proof of anyways ? I am concerned about my sons SAFTEY !!!.”

We agree that what Arhaan was doing wasn’t really the right thing but do you agree with Anushka’s way of letting him know that?
