Director Krishna Vamsi is all ready with his next Telugu film, titled Nakshatram. His last film was the Ram Charan-starrer Govindudu Andarivadele (2014). The popular director is back after a gap of almost three years with a multi-starrer film.

The trailer was released yesterday, amidst much fanfare and it sure looks promising.

Nakshatram stars Sundeep Kishan and Regina Cassandra in the lead roles. Sai Dharam Tej and Pragya Jaiswal will also be making special appearance in the film, which also has the talented Prakash Raj playing an important role.

It is rumoured that actor Sai Dharam Tej has done this film free of cost, out of respect and love for the director.

As seen from the trailer, Sundeep Kishan's character aspires to be a cop. The film is based on the lines of 'Every police is a citizen in a uniform' and 'Every citizen is a police without uniform'. Sundeep Kishan, Sai Dharam Tej, Pragya Jaiswal and Prakash Raj are seen donning police uniforms. But who among them are actual cops? We will have to wait to find out!

The beautiful Shriya Saran has done a dance number, which adds to the glamour quotient of this action-packed film. The trailer has impressed Sundeep Kishan fans and they will be hoping this film will be their actor's second hit this year, after Maanagaram/Nagaram.

The release date of the film is not out yet, but is reported to be releasing this month. Will this film be another trademark Vamsi film? We shall know very soon. Till then, you can watch the trailer right here.
