X-Men Apocalypse Final Trailer – 5 Easter Eggs Hidden In The Trailer

The final trailer for the X-Men Apocalypse, directed by Bryan Singer,  is out and has fans all over the world drooling looking at their screens. All because of a glimpse of a closed fist, which was a pretty huge secret and yet not the only highlight of the trailer. The picture seems to become clearer with the release of each trailer and it is easy for the non-comic book lovers to catch up and know what’s happening. If you haven’t watched any movies of the franchise, you can still catch up with this movie, as they are going back to the roots and the storyline is as close to the comic story as it can ever be. There are many easter eggs hidden in the X-Men Apocalypse’s final trailer. These eggs along with the glimpse of Wolverine’s fist is making us more eager for the upcoming movie. If you haven’t watched the final trailer yet, you can watch it below.

1. Magneto’s family

Magneto finally found love after the events of the "Days of Future Past". Sadly, it was short-lived. We can see that he is back to his old ways, with the hate for humanity bubbling inside him. This might be the end of Charles and Erik’s friendship. It was also thought that Erik might be an unwilling participant in the team of the Apocalypse but that is not the case.

2. Return of the X-Men from a different timeline

You see Warren Worthington III in a mutant fight club fighting the night crawler. His appearance in the original trilogy went a little unnoticed and he is back for seconds with better CGI wings.

3. Magneto’s Son

Comic book nerds already knew about it. But the trailer confirmed it that Quicksilver is indeed Magneto’s son. Raven’s response is not only very appropriate but given her and Erik’s history, there might be some seeds of envy there.

4. Bridge Exploding

The scene of the bridges exploding take you back to the past where you saw a similar scene in the movie The Last Stand. Is the history going to repeat itself? Or will this set the precedent for that scene? Multiple timelines and the events of days of future past and make things a tad confusing, but hang in there. It's all worth it.

5. Global Catastrophe

X-men are going global with the destruction not being limited to just USA, but extending worldwide now as far as Australia. This means the X-men need all the help they can get, now more than ever, to fight the impending Apocalypse.
