We know you’re excited to see what the rest of the year has in store. Until then, here are 5 songs that you must have on your playlist, this November. So, just sit back, relax and press ‘Play’.
Flesh without Blood/Life in the Vivid Dream – Grimes
Grimes is back with the kind of dreamy lead single only she could release. Though it seemed impossible for Grimes to live up to her own hype after Visions, it’s safe to say that she has surpassed all expectations.
Breaker – Deerhunter
We’ve had Deerhunter‘s album on repeat for weeks, and we don’t see that changing any time soon. Breaker, the second single from Fading Frontier, could fit right into Halcyon Digest, and that’s a real compliment.
All Your Yeahs – Beach House
When Beach House announced they were releasing Thank Your Lucky Stars just two months after Depression Cherry, we had our doubts. Fortunately, Thank Your Lucky Stars is just as good as – if not better than – its predecessor. All Your Yeahs, one of the finest tracks on the album, deserves a spot on your playlist.
Easy Money – Johnny Marr
Johnny Marr‘s debut solo live album is everything a live recording should be. Each track on the LP takes you as close to the concert experience as possible. And the live rendition of Easy Money has got to be our favorite track off the album.
Something Soon – Car Seat Headrest
They just don’t make lo-fi music like they used to. Fortunately, there are still a few little-known gems like Car Seat Headrest‘s latest album. The first single (and arguably, the finest song) on the album is the perfect track for a lazy Sunday.
