A Gentleman: Soundcheck

Verdict – Time to rock-n-roll and hit the dance floor.

Bollywood seems to be really high on the party songs this year and the latest film to contribute to this fad is Sidharth Malhotra – Jacqueline Fernandez starrer A Gentleman: Sundar Susheel, Risky. With four out of five songs being quintessential dance numbers, the album is a must in the playlist of all those whole love to hit the stage.

With Jacqueline looking perfect in every frame and Sidharth pulling off the swag while also being a dapper, the movie is sure to be a treat to our eyes. The film’s latest song Bandook Meri Laila has impressed quite a many. Directed by Raj and D. K., the movie also stars Darshan Kumaar and Suniel Shetty.

The music is composed by Sachin-Jigar while the lyrics are penned by Vayu whose recent work Beat it Bijuriya from Munna Michael was well received by many. Here is a complete review of all the songs from A Gentleman.

The powerful vocals by Vishal Dadlani and Jonita Gandhi take this typical rock-n-roll number to a whole new level. Sachin-Jigar have done a commendable job in this one with the mix of several elements like rap, chorus alongside the sexy saxophone and not to forget the very hot pole dance by Jacqueline.

Disco Disco
Sung by Benny Dayal and Shirley Setia, who has quickly amassed a lot of fan following on YouTube, Disco Disco is a clichéd song with common electro bass sound you hear from every DJ in town. The saving grace here is the singers who add their individual touch to it.

Baat Ban Jaye
The song is going to raise temperatures and leave you sweating as the lead stars party on an exotic Miami beach while looking ultra-sexy. This one is sung by Siddharth Basrur and Priya Saraya and can well make it into every Bollywood DJ’s list.

Bandook Meri Laila
The latest Bollywood song that has made news, Bandook Meri Laila features Sidharth Malhotra’s singing debut as he raps alongside Raftaar in a completely new avatar with oodles of swag. The chemistry between the stars is definitely going to make a lot of heads turn.

Lagi Na Choote
Every Bollywood film needs at least one romantic song to show the lead couple’s love. Lagi Na Choote exactly serves this purpose. It gives us a break from the other dance numbers in the album and because it is sung by the magical duo, Arijit Singh and queen of melody Shreya Goshal, this romantic song will be loved by many.
