The Bangalore Open Air metal festival has played host to some of the biggest names in heavy metal for the last six years and has developed a reputation as one of India’s greatest metal fests. Its association with Germany’s Wacken Festival, an open-air, heavy metal music festival that takes place in the village of Wacken in Schleswig-Holstein in northern Germany, has allowed the fest to bring down acts such as Nile, Iced Earth and Kreator.

This month, American death mental band Immolation will play a concert as a lead-up to Bangalore Open Air 2020. Immolation has been a force to reckon with in the extreme death/black metal underground scene with a career spanning over 30 years. They’ve been touring in support of their most recent and highly acclaimed Atonement record for two years non-stop and will continue all though 2019.

Four supporting acts will take the stage along with Immolation.
