5 Hottest International Tracks of August

August has been a great month for international tracks. There have been new songs by some of the most popular artists that we love, especially women artists. As we count down the days to see The Chainsmokers next month and Ed Sheeran live in India later this year, there are many new songs for you to keep up with. Taylor Swift is back with a vengeance and her rival, Katy Perry, is not far behind. Despite the drama in the international music world, here are the best songs of August:

Taylor Swift – Look What You Made Me Do

Taylor Swift dropped her new single with a brand new video, heralding the death of the old Swift persona and the birth of a new, fiercer, and darker, Taylor Swift 2.0. In a video filled with references to her enemies and her previous selfs, the music is different than anything she has released before.

Calvin Harris – Feels

Calvin Harris released a second music video for Feels, a song featuring Katy Perry, Pharell Williams, and Big Sean. The laid-back summer song already had a music video released, but the new smoother video still remains popular in August.

Katy Perry – Swish Swish

Katy Perry also released a new music video this month, brimming with cameos. Perry tries to play basketball with the pop tune – but fails quite miserably – until Nicki Minaj appears in a rap verse and saves the day.

Ed Sheeran – Bibia Be Ye Ye

Ed Sheeran's new music video takes you on a tour of Ghana in all its glory. The song's title means 'All is going to be well' in one of Ghana's native languages. While it's different from other releases by Sheeran, the upbeat tune with afro beats sure is uplifting.

Miley Cyrus – Younger Now

Miley Cyrus has gone through a cycle of different phases in her career and now she seems back to her original country roots. The simple lyrics about the many changes in her life and how she's now the best version of herself rings true. There's a personal touch to Miley's new track that's now rarely found in popular songs.
