FiveSixZero 2017 – A True Melange of Music, Art, Community, and Culture

Bengaluru was all hyped up this Saturday evening for one of the country’s biggest dance music festival, FiveSixZero – 2017, hosted by Bangalore Mirror. The event brought together an impeccable array of local and world renowned artists all under one roof to leave the crowd with a night they’d never forget.

FiveSixZero is Bengaluru’s very own music dance festival where the name is inspired by the city’s postal zip code! The line-up comprises of world renowned artists such as Ummet Ozcan, Fedde Le Grand, Wolfpack, Daddy’s Groove, Christina Noveli and some of our very own such as Answer and DJ Ivan. The entire line up does justice to the EDM frenzy crowd of Bengaluru and managed to keep them intoxicated on fun and much more for the entirety of the night.

The evening kicked off with our very own DJ Ivan and Answer who warmed up the crowd and instilled a party vibe to the environment. This was followed by the performance of Christina Noveli, Wolfpack and Daddy’s Groove who made everyone dance like a true EDM fan and proved why Bangalore is termed as the cradle of dance music of India!  Just when we thought we had ran out of gas, Ummet Ozcan and Fedde Le Grand entered the stage and  got the party started all over again. At the end of such an energetic performance, the artists left us craving more.

Props to Bangalore Mirror and their production team  who did a spectacular job with the security and visuals. This was probably the most impressive part in my opinion of the whole show, with multiple bright LED screens and the perfectly timed theatrical smoke and fog, it was something very visually appealing and added an energetic vibe to the event.
FiveSixZero could most certainly return to Bengaluru the following year considering the enormous response it received from the crowd. So make sure you book your tickets right away and head to the event with your dancing shoes on for a night of dance and fun that you’ll never forget.
