It's time. Easily one of the biggest festivals in the world, Ultra Music Festival which takes place annually in Miami, finally makes its way to India in the form of 'Road to Ultra'. Organized by Percept Live, the fest will take place on Sept. 7 in Mumbai (Mahalaxmi Racecourse) and on Sept. 8 in Delhi (India Exposition Mart).

Name any artist. Any big name in the electronic music industry. They have all performed at Ultra. The fest has won many awards, such as Best Dance Event, Best Music Event and recently World's Best Festival. After the first edition nearly two decades ago, which saw 10,000 attendees, the last five editions have consistently seen 165,000 attendees.

In 2008, Ultra began a series of mini-festivals around the world, called Ultra Worldwide. Then in 2012, they began Road to Ultra, which are single-day, single-stage events. After going to Thailand, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Colombia, Paraguay, Puerto Rico, Macau, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, China, this year will see it come to India and go to Australia. After another mammoth festival like Tomorrowland, recently made its way to India in the form of 'Tomorrowland Unite', we're glad that India had taken a step forward and is getting the recognition it deserves.

The Chainsmokers will be headlining the fest, with support from Getter, Lost Kings, Rezz, Sam Feldt, Slushii, Mykris, Raiden and Siana Catherine. Although they will all play on one stage, they all have different sounds, making it a good variety of music for the day. We're ultra excited, are you?
