26th of January 2020 marks the 70th Republic Day of India. This anniversary honors the date our very own Constitution came into place. For the Indian youth, Republic Day has been no more than a holiday, but this year, with the increased interest in political matters, it will certainly be a day worth celebrating with pride. While important parts of the Constitution are being read all over the country, here are a few songs that will instill that patriotic feel within you. Gen X might still be humming to Ae Mere Watan Ke LogonSandese Aate Hain, and Bharat Humko Jaan Se Pyaara Hai, but these are songs that are more relatable and inspiring to the modern Indian youth. So, here it goes: our contemporary Republic Day playlist!
