Brands today are focusing their advertisements on relevant topics that the consumers can resonate and touch your heart immediately. And why not? It works perfectly well for the brand to justify what they stand for as well as develop a liking in the mind of the customer. Not too long ago, Nike India launched its campaign that aimed to inspire women to take up sports (remember the catchy Da Da Ding song?) The ad-film went viral on the web because of its energetic and inspirational motive. According to the brand, the aim was to start a “sports movement.”
Yet again, the brand has launched an ad on the similar lines. However, this time around, the commercial highlights the achievements of five Middle Eastern women. The video, in Arabic with English subtitles, also asks the very common question that the society asks every girl who wants to achieve something big in life, “What will they say about you?”
Zahra Lari, the first woman to wear a hijab while figure skating is one of the powerful women being featured in the ad-film. She says, “I’ve had a lot of criticism throughout my journey, but I’ve never let that stop me or bring me down.”
The commercial has already crossed 4 million views across various social media platforms and has received loads of positive reactions. It’s slowly catching up to people and is truly inspirational.
