With an amphitheater-style seating, Prithvi is considered one of the best venues for quality plays since 1978. It is the dream of theatre groups to get a chance to perform there and we would definitely love to see some of our favorite plays being performed. This month is when you should be catching up some amazing plays at Prithvi.

1. IPTA Mumbai's Bobby Ki Kahani (Children's Play) 
This is the story about a little girl called Bobby who has been brought up by her parents like a boy because they always wanted a boy. Watch this fantasy play for kids that is perfect for anyone above the age of six.

2. IPTA Mumbai's Kashmakash 
Translated from the original Bengali play by Debasis Majumdar, this play explores the problem faced by the needy when they are exploited by those in power.

3. IPTA Mumbai's Bilquis Begum Ka Baadaa
Begum Bilquis has five daughters and a mother who lives in a small town of UP. The play is set in the pre-independence era and opens on the fourth day of her second husband's death. As she mourns, she has her own set of rules that create a havoc in the house.

4. IPTA Mumbai's Ek Aur Dronacharya 
We all know the story of one of the finest teachers – Dronacharya. Now get ready to see another person by the same name, who has inherited the legacy of the great teacher. The play is going to leave you with a lot to think about.

5. Anvarat Theatre's Baba Ka Thullu
Baba is an old man, while Thullu is an eight-year-old boy. Baba is a sweeper with lots of stories for Thullu, as he talks about the simpler times gone by.

6. Yatri's Tillu Ki Dulhaniya 
The play follows the story of Tillu, who has never encountered love in life and how his fiancee Jugni accepts him with all his flaws. But the real fun is when he is actually wooing her.

7. Yatri's Jeene Bhi Do Yaaro
Romantic dreams are all about the promise of a sweet future together, walking hand-in-hand into the sunset. Couples everywhere seem happy before marriage. But does everything remain all rosy once you get married?

8. Essay PPL's Taj Mahal Ka Udghatan
From the people got you Taj Mahal
ka Tender, get ready for another laugh riot. Shah Jahan is dead and Taj Mahal is still under construction. With the judicial law getting in the way, will the Taj Mahal will finally be inaugurated?

9. Essay Ppl, Mumbai's Pinocchio 
Pinocchio is about a puppet that comes alive. With the help of Jimini as his conscience, he has to prove a worthy boy. The play will surely be a treat for the kids.
