Directors Kamal Nathani and Amol Shetge bring to us One Way Ticket, a suspense and romantic thriller with an exciting star cast that does not disappoint. It begins as a modern and vibrant film filled with a captivating storyline. But half way into it, you soon realize that nothing is what it seems. As the film unfolds, we are introduced to six different characters who because of various different circumstances find themselves on a cruise, a cruise that will turn out to be a life-changing experience for each one of them.

Samar (Sachit Patil), a photographer along with his assistant Urvashi (Neha Mahajan) are a fun-loving duo who love to travel and meet new people. Shivani (Amruta Khanvilkar) is an excited young woman who is supposed to meet her boyfriend Aditya Rane (Gashmeer Mahajani) on the cruise. Aniket (Shashank Ketkar) is a simple man from a village near Pune who travels to Italy for a job, only to find that he has been duped and Joseph D’Costa (Roger D'Costa) is an elderly man yearning to go back to his motherland. While they appear to be the perfect strangers, the film takes captivating turns as identities are questioned, love interests begin to bloom, and their destinies eventually intertwine with each other.
