The 88th Academy Awards are finally here. Everyone is rooting for their favorites from the time the nominations were announced. Apart from being the most prestigious awards, they are also one of the most oldest awards. The first award was handed out in 1929 and it was not televised until 1953 for the people. The first ceremony was held in a hotel ballroom and lasted 15 minutes. From that year they haven’t looked back. In 2002, the longest Oscar ceremony lasted for 256 minutes. Having such an extensive history, you can imagine that it would have some records and some interesting instances.
