Oxygen is Gopichand’s show all the way. He looks stunning and delivers a riveting performance throughout the movie. Among the actresses, Raashi Khanna has more screen presence and she was good. Anu Emanuel is seen in the latter half and looks extremely beautiful. Jagapathi Babu has excelled in the role of the main antagonist while Brahmaji and Shaam are apt in their roles. There is a huge ensemble of cast and every one enacted their roles well. Direction, writing, music, and cinematography are good. Production values are grand. The message that this movie gave without missing the commercial elements is praiseworthy.
What Could Have Been Better:
Director stuck to the routine format and a few scenes seemed repetitive. In today’s age, Telugu cinema is evolving in a way that the audience is lapping movies that are novel, which is a tad bit missing. Having said that, though the narration is formulaic, there are no boring moments. The editing could have been crisper and the item song is the second half could have been chopped of comfortably.
Why You Should Watch:
If you are a Gopichand fan, you must not miss it for his amazing performance. People who like movies with a relevant social message should watch it because the movie delivers just that.
