Director Pandiraj, who is well-known for films such as Pasanga and Marina, is now back with yet another subject starring children. He returns with his latest film, Pasanga 2. The trailer of the film was unveiled recently, and it is chirpy, colourful and quite interesting. It definitely looks like a winner already.
The trailer reveals how the films deals with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) among kids, a subject that surely needs to be talked about and will draw the audience’s notice.
The film also boasts of popular actors – Suriya and Amala Paul. Suriya plays the role of a teacher. His funny antics, unique introduction in the trailer may remind us of Aamir Khan’s in Taare Zameen Par. Considering how both films deal with problems children face, we’re sure Suriya’s character will play a pivotal role in the story. Amala Paul, also attempts a role she’s never tried before. The film also stars, Bindu Madhavi and Karthik Kumar.
Previously titled Haiku, the title of the movie was changed to Pasanga 2 to avail tax exemption. Pandiraj has announced that this is not the sequel to his 2009 National-award winning film, Pasanga. You can watch the trailer of the film, here:
